Compassion is Contagious

Step into a role that truly matters. As a palliative care volunteer, you’ll provide compassion and support during life’s most challenging moments—offering comfort from diagnosis through grief and loss.

This isn’t just volunteering; it’s a chance to profoundly impact lives, build connections, and be part of something extraordinary. Join us to make a difference that matters.

Facility-Based Palliative Care Volunteers

Facility-based volunteers bring care and compassion to hospice settings and senior living facilities, supporting individuals and families during difficult times. After completing specialized training, volunteers can sign up for shifts that fit their schedule, providing companionship, emotional support, and practical assistance.

Whether sitting bedside, sharing a conversation, or assisting with meaningful activities, these volunteers create a peaceful, comforting environment for patients and their loved ones.

Volunteering is about giving your time and energy to help others, expecting nothing in return.

Virtual Care Pen Pal Volunteers

Pen Pal Volunteer Opportunities. There are three meaningful ways for Pen Pal volunteers to get involved:

Writing Letters

Volunteers can write heartfelt letters to individuals in both facility-based settings (like hospices and seniors' facilities) and in the community. These letters bring comfort and connection to those who may be feeling isolated.

Assisting with

Letter Writing

Volunteers can also assist individuals who are unable to write themselves, helping them compose personal letters, cards, or messages to loved ones or a pen pal. This support is available in both facility-based and community settings.

Each of these roles helps foster meaningful connections, offering companionship and emotional support to those facing life-limiting illnesses.

Volunteers in Events and Fundraising

Volunteers are essential to the success of our awareness and fundraising events. From planning and promotion to on-the-day support, they help ensure we can continue offering vital services to those in need. Your involvement directly impacts our ability to raise funds and awareness, making a lasting difference in the lives of individuals and families facing life-limiting illnesses.
