Mission Statement

Alberta Northwest Palliative Care Society is dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by progressive life limiting illnesses through compassionate care, high quality programs, and education for all ages.

What is Palliative Care?

Palliative care is specialized, compassionate support for people living with progressive, life-limiting illnesses. It focuses on more than just medical treatment — it addresses physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs. The goal is to relieve pain and other symptoms, enhance dignity, and improve quality of life for both the individual and their loved ones. Palliative care helps people live as fully and comfortably as possible, at any stage of their illness, and supports families through every step of the journey.

Get involved. Give your time or make a donation to support care when it matters most.
